$15 NZ (about $12.50 cdn) will buy you this much 100% pure undyed wool. Luckily my Grandma Hall taught me how to roll balls of yarn when I was a little girl. It took me about 45 mins (an episode of Gossip Girl- I've been keeping up on iTunes) to get this all into one giant, tightly-wound ball. I've made a wash cloth, and I have successfully learnt how to do "rounds" Now I am moving my crochet skills up to a hat (a nice white and grey one). It's insane how addictive it is.

ReplyDeleteApparently they're 100% UV protective. They were $2, so I'm guessing they only protect from a poke in the eye.
